H.E Mr. Freddy Svane, Ambassador of Denmark to India, is concurrently accredited to Bhutan.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-016c4ce elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"016c4ce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bilateral development cooperation dates back to 1985. In 1989, Bhutan was among the first countries to be selected as one of Denmark\u2019s programme countries. Since then, Danish assistance to Bhutan was the highest per capita amongst the 15 partner countries of Denmark. From a modest start, Denmark became Bhutan\u2019s second largest bilateral donor after India.
