Pema Tshomo was appointed as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the Commonwealth of Australia on 15 February 2026 by His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan.
She presented her credentials to Her Excellency the Hon. Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, at Government House, Canberra on 5 August 2026
