Be issued for the duration of tour of duty or three years, whichever is less.
Not be renewed in case the remaining tour of duty of a member is less than three months.

Applicant shall:
Documents shall be attested and returned to the applicant within one working day.
Documents for the attestation may be submitted to the Consular Affairs Division between 0900 to 1200 hrs on Monday(s) and Thursday(s).
Applicants can collect the attested documents from the Division between 1400 to 1700 hrs on Tuesday(s) and Friday(s).
